Network's snake stunt will benefit UA VIPER

New grant to help library
By Bethany Barnes. A new endowment has been created by Rich Stoffle, an associate professor of applied research in anthropology at the UA, and Carla Stoffle, dean of libraries at the UA. The endowment consists of an initial gift of $10,000. Dobyns died on June 21.

University of Chicago sees unprecedented jump in applications

When Tenure Means Nothing
By Scott Jaschik. Clark Atlanta University violated the rights of 55 faculty members -- 20 of them with tenure -- when it eliminated their jobs without faculty consultation or due process, and without regard to whether or not they had tenure, according to a report issued Wednesday by the AAUP.
