This document, initially adopted by the Arizona Board of Regents on March 12, 1983, and updated periodically thereafter, constitutes the complete and official body of policies for the governance and operation of the Arizona University System.

After May 1, 1983, any previously adopted Board policies not contained in this document shall not be applicable and the body of policies contained in this document shall supersede all other understandings, prior practices, letters and other informal writings for the governance of the Arizona University System.
