As Assistant Executive Director for Audit Services, Rick Gfeller directs, plans and conducts internal financial, performance, and information system audits of the Arizona University System and develops an annual audit plan, audit program objectives and audit procedures consistent with Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards. Rick directs and supervises a staff of professional auditors and he also individually performs a variety of audits. He presents audit findings and recommendations to central office management, the universities, and the Board of Regents and serves as the Audit Liaison for the central office with the universities and other organizations.

As Audit Manager, Mark Petterson coordinates the work of the internal audit staff and plans, and participates in, and supervises all types of audits at ASU, NAU and UA. He creates audit reports recommending improvements in internal controls and coordinates preparations for Audit Committee meetings. His specialty is information systems control and audit.
