Planning, Implementation and Disestablishment

The Arizona Board of Regents approves requests for the planning and implementation of new academic programs according to the provisions of ABOR policy 2-203. Faculty members of the Arizona universities are advised to contact the Provost’s Office at the respective university for specific procedures that are followed on the campuses.

Academic Program Planning, Implementation and Disestablishment

Guidelines for requests:  Requests to plan or implement new academic programs must be submitted by the provost’s office of the university making the request, using the guidelines in the appropriate outline below. Requests should be submitted to ABOR approximately 6 weeks prior to the Board meeting at which a decision is desired.  Check with your contact above for a specific date.
