The Coalition for Solutions Through Higher Education

Solutions textboxA crisis in education is looming in America.  The educational performance of our children simply does not measure up to countries around the world, and we are not producing enough educated, highly skilled workers to effectively compete in today’s global, knowledge-based economy.

This crisis is especially acute in Arizona, which trails the rest of the nation in college completion and other key measures of educational performance.

Solutions Through Higher Education is an education campaign to promote awareness about the critical role that higher education plays in ensuring economic prosperity for our country and our citizens.

You can become a member of The Coalition for Solutions Through Higher Education.  As a member, you will receive periodic information about the critical economic and social challenges facing Arizona, the ways in which higher education provides solutions to these challenges, and the issues facing higher education and Arizona’s public universities.  You will be encouraged to help spread the message about the crisis facing Arizona and the country.

This is not a fund-raising effort.  Your email address will not be shared with others.  The Board of Regents and the three university presidents are fortunate to have strong leadership for The Coalition from six business and community Co-Chairs from around the state:  Chris Bavasi, Don Budinger, Harry Hengl, William Post, Sarah Smallhouse, and Craig Weatherup.
