Appointment of Dr. José Luis Cruz as NAU president anticipated at Arizona Board of Regents special board meeting

WHAT: The Arizona Board of Regents will convene for a special board meeting to take action on the appointment of Dr. José Luis Cruz as the 17th president of Northern Arizona University, effective June 14, 2021. The board also will take action to approve key terms for his multiple-year employment contract. Board materials are available here.

WHEN: Wednesday, March 10, 2021

3:30 to 5 p.m. MST

• 3:35 – 4:20 p.m. – Executive session, closed to public
• 4:20 – 5 p.m. – Public session, including agenda item for appointment of Dr. Cruz as president of NAU
