Statement from ABOR Chair on 2026 State of the State address

Below is a statement from Arizona Board of Regents Chair Doug Goodyear following Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs' State of the State address. 

“The Arizona Board of Regents appreciates Governor Hobbs' support of Arizona’s public universities and shares her commitment to advancing Arizona’s workforce and building an opportunity economy. Our public universities continue to grow the state’s health care workforce, safeguard Arizona’s prosperity and natural resources and develop talent for high‑demand careers. The board looks forward to working with the Governor and legislators to ensure Arizona’s universities have the support necessary to serve students, families and employers.”
